I really wasn't sure how this would work with Leonard (the infamous gray African who was famous for completely destroying fifty dollar toys in three or four days). all is well - over and over again - as he managed to destroy the hanger so much that the toy ended up on the floor of his cage within 18 hours of installation. Perhaps one day people who make bird toys larger than conures will realize that one of the most important parts of the design is the strength of the hanger. I've seen large, heavy toys attached with a very small eyebolt, totally out of proportion to the weight and size of the wooden pieces. In the future I will remove all the crappy hangers and replace the eyebolt with something strong enough to hold the toy together for more than a few hours. This toy wasn't even heavy - just poorly designed and executed. for enough strength to hold it in place. After buying a lot of toys that Leonard broke too quickly, I'm going to take the remaining parts and build a decent toy that at least stays in place on his head. Cage for a week or so!
