1. The operating system for this laptop is missing. Branded drivers from the HP website must be installed for it to operate to its full potential. It is worthwhile to do this because it will make the speakers whine, the touchpad glitch, the screen go dark, and other undesirable things go away. 2. You must block USB-Ethernet network cards, USB splitters, and other wire bundles for normal operation. A TP-LINK UE330 docking station is what I'm using. 3. - 1. A fast enough processor to retrieve even large Autocad drawings quickly.
