On my 1996 Chevy Silverardo K1500 pickup with air conditioning, I was getting high RPMs on my heater blower motor. Bought this item and installed it along with a new fan motor. On my 1996 Chevy K1500 Silverado pickup with air conditioning, I only had high speed running on my heater fan. They said it's a drag, it's bad. They are more likely to go bad if the fan motor is running too hard and overheating the resistor. At the same time I bought a new oven motor. The prices were great for both parts. Much cheaper than at the dealer. Everything works like new again.
