I want my daughter to play with "open creative toys" that confuse adults (because we're programmed to think about using things) but that kids use to develop their creativity and imagination. So I bought this set, as well as small balls (Mox?) from the same company. Result? Yes, my daughter manipulated these toys, looking at them, turning them back and forth, but ended up getting bored of them faster than her usual mugs and other simple toys that don't make these extravagant. claims to justify the higher price. Moluc has no special qualities that would stimulate a child's creativity: you can give a child a paper towel roll, a plastic cup, a basket, etc. and you will get the same result as with these toys.
