I bought a more powerful 1/3 HP pump. It arrived on time and worked great. Although, as other reviews have mentioned, the gauges don't have very detailed vacuum readings, they were more than accurate enough to evacuate and charge the AC. The instruction manuals are useless for the actual work on the car's air conditioning system, but this information can be found in YouTube videos in great detail. This gear is now on the shelf for the next time you need it. I highly recommend this backyard mechanic gear!
