Excellent cable modem. I'm a big Linksys fan and bought their cable modem to use with my router and wireless access point. After numerous problems, I checked the reviews to find the best cable modem. Great reviews led me to the surfboard. I switched to a surfboard and had great results. No freezing, no dropouts, everything works fine. It also works great with all of my other Linksys routing devices. If you're having disconnects or other problems with your current cable modem, this one is worth trying. This solved all the problems I had with my previous cable modem. Works very well with online games. I use it with Charter Communications.
