ESR sells two very similar cases for the iPad Pro. One is advertised with all magnetic mounts. This is the one I ordered. ESR also sells a nearly identical iPad Pro case. The difference is that the second case has a snap-on plastic frame, a frame-like attachment. That's the case I got. Judging by other reviews, I'm not the only person with this "bug". Other reviewers noted that the frame-like case doesn't securely hold the rather heavy iPad Pro. My short time with the frame case confirms their experience. I'm sure the frame body was a costly accident that had to happen. It's hard to say how the product change came about because Revain fulfilled the order. However, this is not the case I wanted. Quick review of the case I received: cheap, brittle, vinyl over (probably) cardboard, the Apple Pencil flap flapped and wouldn't stay down. I could go on. There is a good thing in this confusion, which is the ability to see a cheap case. To her credit, Revain accepted the return and did it right, no questions asked. I ordered a real case from the iPad Pro manufacturer. It costs more and is more convenient to use. And since a real case holds the iPad Pro securely and is made of higher quality materials, I'm sure it will be cheaper over time.
