I used my previous wallet for about 8 years. It was bursting at the seams, so I had to buy a new wallet. I tried the minimalist Saddleback wallet and it seemed very unnatural to me. It's thick, smells funny, and I've heard plastic cards become permanently wrapped with use. I knew I needed another duplicate wallet. So I got myself a Big Skinny Bifold Wallet. And wow, it really is as advertised! Very thin! Pros: - Fits all my old cards and can probably hold more - Cards go in and out naturally, there isn't much resistance but it doesn't feel like the cards are accidentally slipping out. - Slim! It's really thin! I didn't even know I needed a skinny wallet until I got this wallet! Cons: - Not a good place for business cards. This wallet is made from one piece of fabric, so it's not stiff enough to hold business cards so the corners don't bend. - Only 1 pocket on each side. I know it's necessary for the thinness, but having extra slots to separate your cards is really nice. I can fit all my cards but they all stick together. So there is no good way to draw a specific card. The logo is made of rubber. As a result, it is not sewn evenly, the lip has flaps. Note: The color is not the same, the wallet is actually much darker than pictured. They either used a lot of light on these photos or they retouched after the photo. - The logo is quite thick / bothers me. So I removed the stitching and removed the logo. 2 things. First, it's the look of the wallet. There are some notable holes that you can see and feel. Not sure if he will go or not. Second, it's a rubber material on the back. I know it will never go away and may even get worse over time. But it's in the wallet, so I'm not worried.
