Review on 🔍 Nordic Pure 16x25x4M12 2 Pack of 16x25x4 Furnace Filters by Steve French

This is a standard unmarked mystery filter. I bought what was advertised as a 16X25X4 MERV 12 air filter. A long time ago the electronics in my Honeywell ESP system died. I've been using media filters ever since. I wanted maximum filtering and this seemed like a good choice. The filter I received was 3 3/4 thick. The Honeywell filter I removed was 4 5/8 inches thick. There was almost a full inch of wiggle room. The wiggle room allows unfiltered air to take the path of least resistance, bypassing the filter entirely. The only markings on this versatile filter were the size and direction of airflow. MERV was not printed on the filter. As far as I know, my MERV is 0.
