No joy in buying the product, it's not good.

And now the details: This device was originally bought as a software access point. Unpleasantly surprised by the utility from ASUS written by a student on his knee with beer. Under Win7x86 this creation refused to work normally. We tried both different versions of drivers (native and including from the creator of the Ralink chip) and another version of this utility. Thecommpatibility mode with WinXP was tried - also zero results (the name of the AP flew several times a minute). Under Win7x86, the software access point did NOT WORK despite a day of dancing with a tambourine.Connectify similarly ordered a long life with this device, in addition, putting a LANcomnnection. At the same time, installation andcomnfiguration on WinXP (where for some reason there were more utility settings options) took a total of two minutes. Conclusion: If you buy under a software access point - know that with the functioning of this device under the "seven" you will be met by a lot of "surprises". : I managed to get it to spin on Win7x64 using Windows itself. HowTo:

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Native software and non-native too.
