I love the convenience of an egg cooker. I started this trend during my first Whole 30. Now even my dog is obsessed with egg cooker eggs. After a few years of using Krups I decided to switch to this mega model. worked fine at first. Now it doesn't work and I've ruined dozens of eggs. I fill the provided water glass exactly as instructed. Pierce the eggs and turn it on. After about 5 minutes or less, the alarm will sound and stop turning on. Eggs are half cooked and still watery. There is still water on the bottom of the device. Basically it's cheap and literally ruins 3 batches of eggs (eighteen in a batch) just to do the exact same thing. It doesn't stay on past the 5 minute mark does that annoying alarm sound start and the only way to stop it is to turn it off. Conclusion - EGGS ARE NOT BOILED. absurd waste of money. I am very disappointed and will never buy this brand again.
