Pay attention to the details!
Both the monitor arms and the laptop tray were off-center. The arm doesn't move, and if you look at the joints, they go up and down, side to side, but don't rotate. So you're stuck with an off-center monitor and an off-center laptop. However, you cannot rotate the monitor lengthwise for viewing.
