There are dozens of these things to choose from and they probably all use the same chip so not much to choose from. Just thought I could put in a good word for this product as it is still working great after 3 years of use. Two things that I think make it better than some other designs are: (1) the charging block plugs right into the wall so the heavy block doesn't dangle from the cord, and (2) the status light circuit is extremely simple: red during charging, green when ready (and flashing green when charge reaches 80%). It really is all you need when looking into your dark garage at night. PS I highly recommend putting the charging harness on top of the battery and then wrapping that connector somewhere around the front bumper. Turns on and off in 30 seconds. I noticed that there is a battery harness included in the current product packaging. Another thoughtful touch.
