Unfortunately I opened the box and was startled by the strong smell of a leaking bottle of fragrance oil - not a good omen. I was really hoping that this product was actually based on essential oils and not chemicals. Although it may contain some (not many) essential oils somewhere, it has an overpowering and unnatural odor. It's annoying even on the lowest settings. I really wish these companies, who know we need products that are free of artificial chemicals, would stop pretending that their products are clearly not natural. Too bad I didn't shop at BS Arivik. Are you still looking for an alternative that is actually based on pure and natural fragrances. I'll put this on the goodwill pile.
