This point didn't work for me, rather the installation didn't work 4 times when I tried it in the app. The first time I tried to run my own ethernet cable from the living room (where my modem is) to my room, the light turned blue, and when I got to the part where it was supposed to connect, I got a message that it may not and restart the device. So the second time I restarted the device and waited for the installation to complete and got the same message. So I went to my living room and plugged the device in next to my modem with the included ethernet cable. This time I got a message that my ethernet cable was not connected to my modem. So on the fourth try, I plugged the ethernet cable into different places on the device and the modem and still got the message that the ethernet cable was not connected to my modem. From that moment I just gave up. There is an option to contact support for further assistance. I also don't like that you have to turn on your location and Bluetooth to use the device, especially since I only use those two settings when needed and they can drain your battery.
