I am a big girl, so color me super surprised when I was able to actually buy a size up and get these in the same loose flowy fit that I see on these cute models. I'm 5'3 and weigh 250ish pounds, and purchased the 4X, should have totally gone with a 3X and still would have had just as much fun and flow! These are a little longer than my frame can accommodate without adjustments--But I like how it flows so I'm going to keep the 4x, and cut off the bottoms for a frayed look. I do have the straps above the holes. Overall these are lightweight but feel sturdy. The print held beautifully in the initial wash. And I like that anything I get on here, either gardening or painting, will just add to the aesthetic. I will warn anyone buying these-- After putting these on I had the sudden urge to find my Doc martens and chunky socks, put my hair in a high pony, and shoot everyone the peace sign.
