or your hands get stained. Believe me I tried to apply it with my bare hands but they were stained by this product. On the other hand, this solarium is the BEST I have ever used. I'm Irish, green-eyed and fair-skinned. This shade looks too dark, but that's because it has a base color to apply. I use a glove to apply, then wash off the glove with soap and place it on the bottle while I stand in the shower overnight to dry. It lasts about five days for me. Be sure to exfoliate well before applying. I usually put on a long-sleeved top and go to bed with it to avoid procrastinating. Works like an absolute charm. Was glad to find a travel package.
