When I make my soap I like to pour green melted soap into the leaves and then when it dries pour the rest in a more neutral color of the soap. Bar. For me, the contrast between the leaves and the base is important. However, with this particular mold it is almost impossible to fill just the leaves as they overflow and end up in the mold cavity. So my workaround is that instead of pouring the soap onto the leaves, I have to drizzle some soap onto the leaves with a brush. Then when they are dry I can water the base. Once I take the soap out of the molds, I have to make several passes and "apply" the liquid green soap onto the leaves. This is annoying, the whole point of buying 12 cavities was to save time, now it takes me twice as long to make this soap. So BAD design. However, the "silicone" mold itself is good in that the soap doesn't stick and comes out effortlessly.
