My microwave's waveguide cover fell apart after years of use (I didn't even know the name of this part or what it was for. Thanks internet otherwise I bought a new one microwave) I couldn't find a replacement lid for my microwave model, but my search led me to these mica plates. I cut a new cover from one of the sheets and when I realized it was still a bit too big it's down. It was easy to cut and trim and has been working fine in my microwave for 2 months now. I have tons of mica left over. Cheap repairs that were easy to do. I'm still giving the review 5 stars because I only needed a small amount of mica and have plenty left over. BUT I WILL NOTE: The product page said it contained 4 pieces of mica, but the package I received only had 3 pieces of mica. I only used part of one reed, so I shouldn't have complained to Revane (since I didn't need the other reeds, which I got anyway), but just in case the others get shorted out on a regular basis, so to speak, I me thought I would like to note here that I only received 3 pieces.
