It is like a gents version of the clarason. I've been using Clairasonic since they came out but they discontinued them and I can't find any men's brushes anymore. I like that they don't vibrate, the brushes move and there are three speeds. Love it when you change batteries too, so don't carry your charger with you when you travel. The Clairasonic just vibrated and I didn't think it was powerful enough, but I think that was because its main demographic was women, which is for men. I don't like a few things. First, the brush could be a bit bigger. I also wish it came with a travel carry case and brush case for when not in use. The main reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that there is no timer. It needs a timer that beeps or vibrates after sixty seconds. I use it as a Clairasonic to exfoliate and cleanse my face, not before shaving, so I can't comment on how it works for that. I would like them to include a pre shave sample and I would consider buying it and using it for that.
