The DVR was installed with this setting. Works well! My only complaint was that I thought connecting the cable would be easier if the stripped cable was a little longer and soldered a little better. Wire gauge is too small to use butt connectors or taps without doubling the wire. As a result, I inserted the wire into the connector and wrapped it with tape. But it is connected and working as advertised. I'm installing one of these in my wife's car right now, but I'm thinking of soldering it. I regret not buying one with an angled USB connector. It's ok, but an angled fork would have looked better!
