
There are a lot of USB hubs out there and if I use those cheap 10-port hubs from Anker and other brands I'm going to have trouble powering a lot of devices, especially external hard drives that can use a lot of electricity. Juice. I love that it has a built in power supply which should eliminate any power issues, although I'm sure it will even have some limitations. I wouldn't expect it to power 20 external 3.5" hard drives lol. However, it is really high quality technology and I have connected several external hard drives and many peripherals without any problems. It's just a well made quality machine that I hope will last for many years.
