the pot is light it most definatley does not take more time to boil than a standard stainless kitchen pot, maybe even quicker with the heat radiator everybody raves about.the bad, the handle is weak, never try using it and pouring at the same time it has a tendency to fold closed and spillbig enough for my ginormous 1 cup of oats, 2 1/2 cup water with banana rasins nuts and seeds. it does take a long time to cool when you eat it out of tall pot 30 minutes instead of 10. oats did not stick very slick surface for easy cleaning overall i use this a on occasion and i am satisfied. oh ya. comes with a mesh carry bag
