Review on Wii U Xenoblade Chronicles X - Special Edition by Gary Cole

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Just get the game and the artbook separately. Everything else is crap.

For $90 I would have expected better quality control. I'm giving it 3 stars because the items in the game box weren't affected. The package it came in was Type 25c which did NOT include bubble wrap. The box was literally the only defense. So, of course, the Special Edition box was squeezed. At least the game's packaging (which actually contains the game disc) and the artbook were fine. Then I saw the flash drive with the soundtrack. There's a soundtrack on it, like 10 songs (sarcasm), and it has a blue light on it. 10 songs for such a massive game!? BUT the songs are in a safe program, so you can't even delete the songs without some technical magic. You can't just drag them onto your computer even if you have them. The size of the flash drive is also only 800 MB. That's megabytes, NOT even 1 gigabyte. Do you know how cheap 32G drives are right now? 9 dollars. Places give away 6GB flash drives, but you literally paid the same amount as 32GB for a drive with no space. So you can only use this diskette for the protected program on it. I thought it would be a cool drive to store some stuff, but the storage is so small it's useless. In short, my special edition box was crushed and the soundtrack flash drive was a complete joke. only sigh I kinda want a refund and I'll just buy the game and artbook separately.
