Review on Bose UB-20 Wall/Ceiling Bracket (Each) - Silver by Shannon Taylor

My house is new construction and the builder pre-wired the surround sound in the living room. As a result, where all the speaker wires were routed, these blank wall panels were left to hide them. When I ordered them I knew they would be smaller than wall panels because my dad has the exact same setup at his house. So I did what he did, which was attaching the brackets directly to the wall plate. He did this a while ago so he couldn't remember the details so I went out and bought pan head machine screws with nuts. I believe 10-32 screws like the ones found here: #10-32x3/4" pan head screws with nuts. I then removed the wall panels, used the supplied template and marker to mark the holes to be drilled, and drilled what in my opinion there was a 7/32" hole at the marked locations. I bolted the braces to the inside with a nut to hold them in place and bolted the wall plates back to their casing (which was very strong).
