The first bottle I got was very gritty and not very comfortable to rub on my face. Little did I know it wasn't how it should have been and endured most of the bottle before it occurred to me to check to see if others had had the same experience. It turns out that it should be very smooth. Bought a second one and am very happy with it. Anyone looking for a mineral sunscreen knows that finding one that's easy to apply and doesn't look like a ghost isn't easy. I use this on my face and dust it very lightly with a lightly toned powder on top to reduce the shine. It can dry out a bit so I had to moisturize a bit more. A small price to pay for reliable daily sun protection without chemical sunblock.
