****BUYER ATTENTION: Bait & Switch. SECUREMUNT hardware shown in installation video and listed in product description as "SecureMount design for easy and secure installation" IS NOT INCLUDED AND USED AT AN ADDITIONAL COST OF $36! **** I have never written product reviews. I buy a lot from Revain and research things before I buy. Sometimes I'm very happy with my purchase, sometimes less. It is an acceptable risk that I make an online purchase and not be able to personally inspect the product prior to purchase. I understand that photos and descriptions are promotional/marketing tools. Industrial fair. HOWEVER, THIS PURCHASE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. This is a lure: the marketing is clearly intended to entice people to buy the product at a low price KNOWING THAT PEOPLE MUST BUY THE HARDWARE NOT INCLUDED FOR A HIGHER PRICE, the video and text clearly shows that they are included. I looked at a few security stirrups but decided on them BECAUSE of the SecureMount solution. The product description and video CLEARLY state that they install with "SecureMount hardware" AND the product description says "SecureMount design for easy and secure installation". WHERE IT HAS, SecureMounts ARE NOT INCLUDED AND MUST BE PURCHASED AT AN ADDITIONAL COST! And the cost of mounts is $18. EVERYONE! This is per bracket and of course you need two! So another $36 for the bindings. That's almost double the price of the bars themselves! So my purchase of $40 now becomes $40 + $72 = $112. Almost TRIPLE THE COST! Revain or Moen can make it right by sending me the gear they listed that was part of this deal and correcting that list. If not, I will return the products and report the listing to the Washington State Attorney General's Department of Consumer Protection for violating the Washington State Consumer Protection Act for dishonest and deceptive conduct.
