The Forcefree+ food scale has just arrived. I started dieting heavily, and to count calories you really have to know how much food you're eating. These small, easy-to-use scales are very cool. They run on two AA batteries and have two buttons. On/off button and (tare) and one to change the type of weight desired (ounce, gram, etc.). The tare essentially "zeroes" the scale with the container on it so you only weigh the actual products - a very handy tool. The accompanying "SmartApple" app is very handy, it allows you to select the type of food you weigh and tells you how many calories/protein/fat/carbs they contain. The app also has some additional diet management components, although I use a different app to track my food intake. The device is quite small, does not take up much space on the table and looks quite attractive. It's very easy to keep clean. My only criticism is that the instructions are pretty limited and not very helpful. This is offset by the fact that you shouldn't have too many problems while using it, especially after syncing with the app. I know I will use it every day!
