I chose this product over the other silicone cases because it has 12 drain holes which I think could be an advantage in terms of potential corrosion issues. i really like it It was well packed. There were no problems installing the plate, it fits perfectly. I used it for a 2 bolt backplate on the back of a Mazda CX-5. The silicone prevents scratches on the car and sticks firmly to the surface with only 2 screws. The other plastic covers had detached from the panel and were sticking out. from the vehicle surface with 2 screws. The edges are narrow and even all around, leaving the decals fully visible. The price could have been a little lower but was reasonable enough. By the way, I had a bit of trouble finding the right screw size for the pre-drilled holes in the Mazda. I took size 6 20mm stainless steel anti-theft screws with a small wrench attached. Stainless steel is the most preventable rust. They entered easily. Got them from AutoZone. The plate cover looks great!
