The cartridges were defective and were making a very loud noise in the printer and one even leaked ink intermittently on part of the page. At first we thought the problem was with the printer which was only 7 months old so we called HP and got a replacement printer under warranty only to find the noise and problem were still there. Replaced the cartridge and everything is fine. We then tested the same on a second printer and found that the cartridge was ordered from the same supplier.
