When I first bought this I almost had a feeling of regret as I just found out how everyone reacted to it. But to be honest, once you start playing and start playing games it gets pretty good. Now let's start with the elephant in the room: no web or GC compatibility. I don't really care about the internet on the Wii. It would be nice, but I don't need it at all. I can stream things like Netflix from my phone or TV in my living room. While the lack of GC compatibility sucks, I didn't buy it for that. I already have a GameCube. Quality is clearly not the best, works at 480i. But if you're using it for a TV my size (see picture) it really doesn't matter. Games like Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros still look good. The only thing that bothers me from time to time is that the thing is loud. During the loading screens, you will hear beeps, crackles, and random moving parts inside the Wii, and it will take a little while to load. Once you get over it, it will stop bothering you so much. It's a really good deal for a console, I would buy it if you just want to sit in bed and play. If you have a larger or HD TV, I'd recommend getting a real Wii (or maybe a Switch since it's already 2017). Overall: 8.5/10. In general, all you have to do is ignore his flaws and look at him for who he is. games.
