I actually had a different saddlebag bracket on my wish list, but it wasn't in stock when I ordered it. I saw this one with an identical description and $7 cheaper so I ordered it instead. Wrong choice. The first thing I noticed after opening the package was that the welds were not of very good quality: incomplete mass of metal and not even the full diameter of the bar. The brackets also looked very short. When I decided to install them anyway, I found that they were so short that they only reached half the height of my new Nomad bags. They also didn't quite fit the mounting holes on my 2002 Heritage. I was able to get them to fit by stretching them slightly, but adding that strength along with weak welds would likely break within the first year. I returned them on credit and ordered another pair for $35 which turned out to be higher. Quality, more and perfect fit.
