The only way to roast: in a bag
We do not endorse "naked" roasting and ALWAYS use these pouches to roast meat. Why would you want your expensive beef, pork, chicken, etc. to dry out? Or do I have to keep running to the stove to sweep? With casserole bags, we always have WET meat AND extra broth to make the sauce. Our adult children do NOT use bags and as a result we rarely enjoy their Thanksgiving turkey. Ours is soft and moist.
