I use these scissors for crocheting. For bedspreads and tablecloths I use #10 cotton thread. I interrupt the thread after each motif. The scissors work well and they are so cute. They are small making them easy to carry around in your crochet bag. They need to be hidden from grandchildren as they are very attracted to them. A pair of scissors would be just as dangerous as any other sharpened pair of scissors. But the younger ones love it when they can hold them and cut grandma's thread.
