NOT compatible with switches

I purchased these headphones on purpose for use with a Switches - they are NOT COMPATIBLE despite what the product description states. I tried every USB port on the dock, including disabling the network adapter to use the USB 3 port on the back, but nothing worked. I also tried using a port on the switch itself just for fun (with a conversion cable) but that didn't work either. My switch is running version 7. It's possible that support will be added in a later version of the system, but they don't work as of February 2019. They work well on PC (Win 10 WS), Mac 10.14 and Android (tested on both my Sony xz2c with Pie and my wife's Note 8 with Oreo). route audio from Focusrite to Nari but couldn't get much less than 150ms or so latency. Same thing with a PC, but I didn't want to allocate a whole PC to the project. The best PC latency I could get was 73 ms. It's a shame because otherwise the headphones are really good, my only criticism is that they're a bit heavy, but with the large soft ear cups they remain comfortable. The sound quality is not the best, but acceptable. Honestly, they sound like $50 headphones. I assumed these were typical gaming headphones as these were my first pair specifically for gaming - I was looking for low latency and nothing else. "THX certified" means nothing anymore as Razer has bought the THX brand outright. I've tried them on my PC and they work great there, but I no longer play PC games. I play splatoon, mk8dx and ssbu. These headphones actually work as two separate audio outputs, one for gaming and one for chatting. Levels can then be adjusted with a real KNOB (no buttons or touchpads here!). I found the volume control to be quite scratchy (electrical noise) and fuzzy (left and right levels didn't appear at the same time), so I can see Razer's regular QC levels playing with this product. I like how they look. The green glowing sides remind me of a Mcintosh product. The vibrate function is useless, but it's a neat trick. I didn't find it pretentious and it seemed convincing enough. To make him feel bossy, the volume should also be turned up to a bossy level. I am surprised that there is no synapse control for this device. I am using the latest Synapse 2.21 on my PC (Razer Stealth with Kernel, Blackwidow x te and Mamba 16000) and the headphones are not recognized at all. OTOH, it's really cool that Razer is finally starting to stop using this software to power their devices. I was fully prepared to give these phones a 3 star rating because while they don't offer the best compatibility, they are otherwise pretty cute. Now, to turn the knife, I returned those Revain headphones and bought a pair of Playstation Gold. They work EXCELLENT. The sound quality is MUCH better. They are very light, although not as comfortable and light as my Bose AE2s. I bet the Playstation Gold's sound quality is even better than my Bose AE2 (although they're pretty worn out, having been in almost daily use since 2015). The switch volume OSD also works with gold - not correctly, but it moves up and down even though the absolute position is wrong. By the way, PS Gold costs half as much as Razer. I picked them up at my local supermarket on a Friday and got them in time for Splatfest weekend. Used them all day Saturday - not a single bug or failure. I fully recommend PS Gold to my clan and several other Discord servers. At least until Nintendo breaks out and makes their own headphones or a plug-in controller.
