This is a THIN cable! It seems to carry signals well, although we don't have any test equipment, but it's about the size of a 10 or 12 gauge insulated cable. MUCH smaller than the regular Cat 5, Cat 5e, or Cat 6 cable we see in the bought past . The price reflects that of course you can expect some difference. Of the three lengths we bought all passed the test after we put them through their routes but gosh they were flimsy so be aware.
