Review on Monument Big Sky Dog and Cat Treats by Jen Jensen

Good to handle but too fragile

This product has its advantages and disadvantages. The pros are that it is a quality product with minimal taste and my dog loves it. I even love the strong smell of salmon, which is so good I was tempted to try this treat myself. Ha! The disadvantage of this delicacy is its fragility. The pieces crumble very easily, so you need to handle them carefully or they will turn to dust. This means that by the time you get your hands on the package, a large number of parts will have broken into very small pieces, creating a lot of dust. I save the dust so it doesn't go to waste and sprinkle it over dog food, but I wasn't planning on using it as a condiment, I want to use it as a real dog treat. The product, currently priced at $15.50 for just three ounces of food, wastes too much and the real treats don't look anything like the product photos. If it had been packaged better so it arrived intact or if it had been cheaper I would have given it a higher rating. But although the product is of good quality, what you get is still disappointing considering the high price. *Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
