I collect vintage cameras and enjoy shooting with film cameras. I took a few shots with this camera using a Canon IS 28-135mm lens and got very well exposed, sharp photos on film. I also have a Canon Rebel k2 and t2 and a Canon Elan IIe and find many of the controls very similar. Elan cameras are heavier and more reliable than Rebel film cameras, Elan II seems to be more durable than Elan 7. When it comes to getting good photos on film and choosing between Elan II or Elan 7, a good photographer will be an excellent result achieve. Photos with each of them, but it would be easier to do it with Elan 7.
