bought this on a whim, as an impulse buy [by hitting the add to cart button] and then, also typical of my stuff, it was hidden/lost for almost a year while I did house renovations. After reopening it a month ago I decided to return it and give it a try. I'm not sure how much of a real quantitative difference it's made because I'm an old man, not a young man, tech savvy - I need things that 'just run', plug and play things make. Spring. I'm guessing he's only been running for a month with a little flashing light and all, now his flat slap is dead and broken. And it does NOT work. Of course, I don't even need to ask if I have any cures. And of course I paid 30% more for the tie than the current retail price. I can just go back to using the blue wire that's plugged into my machine. In my opinion there are far worse things in life [although maybe not for young people]. It's quite bulky and unwieldy if you plan on working with your laptop on your lap. But if it works, I might overlook such a small problem. I HAD a small mini version [half the size] from another brand but it literally fell apart in my hand the first time I used it. So I decided to try this model [as I have no idea what those numbers mean and don't believe what anyone says about their product anyway]. It LOOKS well built compared to my other mini. But I think the joke is about Lou's brother again. It turned out to me as unreliable useless junk that, as I said, barely lasted a month. And I don't use a computer or a phone every day or for hours like young people do. All this to say that I might have TRYED another one if the price had been more correct or if the seller had offered goodwill. - Timely replacement. Since I still have the original packaging, I may try to request a one-time replacement. Maybe I'll buy another brand to try. I'm not sure. A little indicator flashed on it, I think that tells me it's working; so I'm assuming it worked or did something. At least for these few days. To be honest I gave it 2 stars versus 1 star so I don't come across as mean or biased.
