Review on Medieval Drawbridge Construction Kit by Melissa and Doug by Chris Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Getting strong after 10 years!

We bought this lock for our elderly grandmothers about 10 years ago when they were 4 and 2 years old. After many years of playing and some "rest" we unpacked it today. Our younger grandchildren (5 and 1 year old) were delighted with his discovery! The drawbridge and trapdoor in the dungeon were favorites. They put in Little People animals and people and Lego dinosaurs! Our elderly grandpas led the Brio train around the castle with dragons and pirates on the train attacking the princesses and my little ponies in the castle! I am very fortunate to have such a well made toy in our home that inspires hours of 'imaginary' play. Our experience shows that this works for children from 1 to 6 years old. The children add what animals/people they would like for their imaginary play.
