Cherry red used and arrived super! Based on prior knowledge of tie dye, I soaked the baking soda in hot water for 20 minutes. Then he drained the water from the washing machine. Not washed! Just leaked! I added salt and a little bit of soap as the instructions say. In very hot water. I also stopped the washing machine to let the color sit for an hour. Stir occasionally to coat it evenly. Then allow the washing machine to complete the cycle with a deep rinse. It came out amazing! :-) Just like the color on the bottle. (I used 2 bottles because I had 4 pounds of fabric. Duvet cover and three large pillowcases. All white cotton. ) Will be making another duvet cover soon. My friend had it, now I'm making mine!
