I bought this bulb to use for starting seedlings. I used it for maybe 7 days (was probably more like 5 days), only had it turned on for about 11-12 hrs/day before it stopped working. I didn't get around to setting up a timer so I turned the light on in the morning and off again at night. After a few days of use, I went to turn the light on one morning and.nothing. Tried a different bulb in the light fixture/lamp and it worked fine (had to make sure the fixture worked). Tried the bulb in a different fixture (maybe they just didn't work together all of a sudden?) but no luck.During the few days that the bulb did work, my seedlings seemed to respond to it so the light intensity and spectrum seem to be good. I wouldn't recommend the bulb though. Not worth the price for a bulb that didn't last more than a week.
