Suitable for a mop but no more. It's seriously lacking in design; does not absorb much water and the mop is notorious for excessive water shedding. I have to follow the mop with extra (more absorbent) rags under my feet to catch all the water and they usually get dirtier than these things. It was hard to find something that matched the width of the mop; Kitchen towels do just that. I'm sure I could buy some fabric and make my own. but one would think that the makers of the mop would have found each other long ago.
