This is the second one I have. The first seam came loose after 4 years. I don't like the current reincarnation as much as the first. They've changed the material it's made of, and not for the better. The previous cylinder was neoprene rubber, this one is polyethylene. The new material stretches a lot more, so I've found that the airbags tend to "bleed" into the front chambers, making them larger and stiffer while providing support for the chambers you actually sit on , is reduced. I had to stop and blow air back into the rear chambers every time the fronts between my legs get big and hard, which pretty much negates this comfortable pillow. Also, the old style had a mouth extension on the air fill valve that routed it to the side of the chamber for relatively easy filling. The new inflation valve is on a short pole at the back of the seat, requiring you to open most of the cover to get to it. Additionally, if you don't adjust the pillow properly, you can feel the valve pressing against your butt. The case when new is no better. I'm missing my old one so I'm looking online for a used one and keeping this as a backup.
