I wanted an insulated glass mug to keep my coffee or tea warmer than a ceramic mug and this one is perfect for that. And I wanted something other than a "tourist jug" to drink from at work and at home. The double-walled borosilicate glass feels smooth and comfortable on my lips when I sip and on my hands when I hold it. The stylish bamboo lid helps keep the drink warmer (or colder) longer when I need to take a step back. There are several suppliers that make this type of product and 16 oz. Size was the reason I pulled the trigger on this purchase. I'm glad I did because I'm so happy with this product that I'm adding it to my list of gifts for others. And one more comment.
