It had an old pocket door that needed to be locked, keep the kids out of mom and dad's room! The door was solid when slid back into the wall, it was the only lock/bolt I could find that allowed the door to slide flush into the wall. We decided to put it higher on the door so nobody accidentally scratches themselves. I also had to slightly modify its mount. The door rested squarely against the door frame when closed, so with the latch right on the end of the door and the latch on the frame they couldn't come together properly to latch. The locking part had to be wider than the door frame. It would be possible to cut a piece of wood to add behind or I just added some nuts and washers. Fits perfectly now and the kids can't open the door!
