Bought for my 12.5 year old son. The tie and knot look good. The Velcro fastens under the collar so it stays hidden when you fold the collar back. The velcro is long enough for the tie to be adjusted around the neck so it should fit most children comfortably. I like to wear my own ties with the tip touching or just covering my belt buckle. This tie was too short for that. but not so short that it looks like a mini bib. My son has yet to hit his teenage growth spurt. The tie still looked pretty good, but I think it could have suited an 8-10 better.
