We hope this ethernet cable continues to deliver the vastly improved video signal we've had since installing it 5 days ago enjoy days. Before installing the cable, we just couldn't get a stable signal without buffering, despite spending nearly $300 on a new modem and router and trying different positions for the router. I chose this particular cable and manufacturer based on the sheer volume of 5 star reviews and so far those reviews have held up. Before ordering the cable I also checked our Samsung manual and found that it recommends category 7 cable. I also used a tape measure on the floor from my home office to our living room and also measured several different paths in the basement where the cables were laid from the study to the living room. A 50 foot cable was enough with a few more feet. As a suggestion, you should run a cable from the router to the TV prior to installation, i.e. before drilling holes, attaching to support rafters, or routing under rugs or rugs. or any other electronic device you are connecting to and make sure there are enough cables first and then connect the router and the device and make sure it works before doing the actual installation. It's better to be proactive than to spend time and effort installing it only to find it doesn't work. Overall I am giving 5 stars after only 5 days due to the much improved video signal we are seeing.
