Bought my second set of these tires. For St. Petersburg in January, I regretted that I did not take the spikes, because. a lot of ice and the roads were not properly cleaned. But adjusted for road conditions, he skated the winter without any problems. With the onset of thaws, I did not regret that I chose Velcro. Good contact with asphalt and melted ice. In principle, compared to Siberia, where I come from, St. Petersburg is probably the best option for a "mild winter": the winter is not picky, warm and with little snow. When changing driving style from summer to winter, very good tires.

Pros

Cons

Like any friction - problems with pure ice. At a speed of 20 km / h, it rolled out onto a pedestrian crossing when braking (consider it rolled out into an intersection) in the presence of porridge + ice under it. Utilities in St. Petersburg this winter, to put it mildly, were in no hurry to clean the roads, so I consider the operating conditions of rubber to be "not typically urban." With thaws of +5 and above, the rubber begins to float at speeds of 120+. Braking, acceleration and maneuvering in such temperatures are viscous. But this is due to the temperature. Very soft rubber for "+". Too soft. Be careful at speed in pits and potholes. In my case, so far without them, but I think you can easily get a hernia.
