My teenager's high-quality backpack, which was over 3 years old, finally crumbled to dust. He needs an XL bag to carry all his school stuff - computer, large math binder, packed lunch, etc. I've looked everywhere to replace his signature bag but couldn't find it anywhere. The new XL version of the bag wasn't that big - it was a lot smaller. Out of desperation, I bought this bag as a temporary replacement. I really wasn't expecting much for the low price. I have to say - I'm really impressed! The quality seems to be the same if not better than its previous "expensive wallet". I like the two large main pockets. They easily fit in a giant math binder, a computer, and a lunch bag. It has two outside pockets for his water bottle, which I love because I'm always afraid they might leak. The straps and back are padded with soft padding, which comes in handy on those days when he has to carry a few textbooks home. Several smaller front pockets come in handy for storing small items (phone, extra pens, snacks, etc.) and I've noticed some very small zippered pockets that are great for stashing extra cash. Transitional status of a backpack to a permanent status. It's a keeper!
